Subject:need for advice
I need to purchase a pen to calligraph my daughter's wedding invitations. I have several calligraphy pens but they all have their little problems...they blob or they catch on perfectly smooth paper or they run dry if I write quickly. I would enjoy owning a pen that writes well and prefer one that is reasonably priced. Any suggestions? I and the beautiful bride thank you in advance.

Subject:Eversharp mechanical pencil
I have an Eversharp mechanical/propelling pencil dating from the late-1940s. The original leaflet states that only Eversharp square leads should be used. This does appear to be the case since some round Eversharp leads that I was recently able to obtain do not travel through the mechanism. (The mechanism does appear to be in good order and nothing lodged anywhere). My question - where can I buy square leads for an Eversharp pencil? Any suggestions much appreciated! J G

Subject:BURNHAM PENS. My name is John Burnham I am the grandson and name sake of John Burnham the owner and founder of Burnham Pens
Hi, my name is John Burnham I am the grandson and name sake of John Burnham the owner and founder of Burnham pens. I was recently having a trawl of the internet for anything Burnham pen related and came across the Croydon Guardian notice board where I found a post by a Mr Ron Porter, who states that he is a member of the 'Writing Equipment Society' and asks whether anyone could help him write a story about Burnham Pens. My Father and myself would be more than happy to help with this. So if anyone could put me in contact with Mr Porter or if anyone else has an interest in Burnham pens, please feel free to get in contact. My email is: johnburnham777@hotmail.com
